I have loved baking since I was a child. I would use any reason to get into the kitchen to be able to make something. It is a wonderful outlet for my creativity because so many techniques for other things can be transferred into edible artwork. My favourite example would be play-dough.  That childhood "skill" I learned turned into fondant and gumpaste creations as a young adult.

​My greatest joy comes from putting the time and love into something for somebody, whether its a simple cupcake order or an elaborate wedding cake. Being able to see the happiness from that recipient gives me great pride and joy in what I do. I've heard it said that if you do what you love, you never work a day in your life. And boy do I love what I do.

​In summer of 2013 I completed my coursework at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Atlanta, GA for my degree in Patisserie and Baking. It was an amazing experience that really confirmed to me that I am exactly where I am suppose to be.

After being raised in Wisconsin and living for a few years in states all across the South and North-east, I have now relocated to Huntsville Alabama to settle down with my family.
